Andrew Schuyler is originally from Wisconsin and has lived in Colorado, Montana, Rhode Island, the Berkshires and Boston. He has worked as a reporter for several newspapers in the northeast, and served as Chief of Staff in the Massachusetts Senate. During his seven-year tenure in state politics, Mr. Schuyler succeeded in advancing several projects directly related to economic growth, environmental protection, and sustainable energy development. He also worked on a variety of issues that strengthened renewable energy standards, and was a founding member of the Berkshire Renewable Energy Collaborative. Mr. Schuyler has extensive relationships with policy makers, the press, and regulators, as well as a clear understanding of state and federal legislative processes. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Rocky Mountain School of Photography and serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters
Chuck Zimmerman is president of ZimmComm New Media, based in mid-Missouri. The company publishes a number of blogs related to agribusiness and energy, including AgWired.com, DomesticFuel.com, and WorldDairyDiary.com. Clients of ZimmComm include a wide range of agribusiness companies and organizations. Chuck has been an agricultural journalist and farm broadcaster for more than 20 years in both the southeast and the Midwest. Prior to starting his own company, Chuck was general manager of Brownfield Network. He has a degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida.
Cindy Zimmerman is vice president of ZimmComm New Media and primary editor of DomesticFuels.com, a blog devoted to news about alternative energy. Like her husband Chuck, she has been an ag journalist and farm broadcaster for more than 20 years in both the southeast and Midwest, and also worked at Brownfield Network as an on-air reporter for several years. She also has a degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida. Both the Zimmermans have a strong commitment and ties to the agricultural community nationwide and even internationally and are strong supporters of the biofuels industry.
Matt is the Communications Director for the Renewable Fuels Association in Washington, DC. Previously, he worked as the assistant media director for the Consumers Union in Washington. Prior to that, he was the Democratic Communications Director for the Senate Agriculture Committee.
Robin is the Vice President, Public Affairs of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association. Robin has over seven years experience working in the policy-making arena at the federal level, four years of which were spent on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Raised in west-central Saskatchewan, he was educated at the University of Saskatchewan (BA - Political Studies) and the University of York (MA - Public Policy and Management).
Tom has been writing about oil, gas, electricity and renewable fuels as a reporter, editor and publisher for 23 years. After several years as a line reporter and editor, he launched Btu, which became recognized as one of the leading sources of information in the natural gas and electricity markets, and the most widely distributed electronic information and market intelligence product in the market. He also started a daily wire service and weekly petroleum publication known as MarketWire. Tom launched the weekly publication "The Ethanol Monitor" in June 2005, and it has quickly emerged as one the most innovative and comprehensive publications in the field.
