“As they used to say in Chicago politics - vote early and vote often,” Matt Harwig of the Renewable Fuels Association says about what the average person in the ethanol industry needs to do to have their voice heard this presidential election.
Too late to vote early at this point, and hopefully no one is voting often - but get out and vote this week. “Whatever your political affiliation, this (ethanol) is not a partisan issue for us, this is an issue about the future of the country and we believe we are a part of that future.”
During an interview at the AgNite event held in conjunction with the Republication National Convention, Matt talked about why it is important for the industry to be involved in the political process and why every needs to get out and vote.
