Were you up Sunday morning watching the morning talk shows? If so, you probably caught the first airing of a new ethanol TV ad campaign launched by the Renewable Fuels Association. The ads, called “Faces” and “Places” feature individual snapshots of the people and the towns, respectively, that are producing America’s renewable fuels.
If you missed them, they’ll be playing in select cities during morning and evening news shows for the next few weeks. Or, just watch them here:
Good ads need more of them. Would like to see much stronger language against feeding OPEC. Also consider discussing how ethanol helps the enviroment and has a very positive impact on our balance of trade both by reducing oil imports and our increased exporting of DDGS.
A 1/10th of a penny/gallon from the refiners
would yield over $10,000,000.00/yr to run ads like this, and to support blenders pumps, and conduct other Nation-wide PR efforts (including buying our “own” experts to write “peer-reviewed articles for faux-scientific journals.)
It’s time to quit playing like “Bush-Leaguers,” and realize we’re in the “Big Leagues,” now.
